Annual Classic Car Show
Each year, the Cincinnatus Business Association holds their annual classic car show during the 4th of July celebration in downtown Cincinnatus, NY. In the past, all proceeds have been donated to the Cincinnatus Fire Department. The 2008 Annual Classic Car Show is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, July 6, 2008. Check-in will be from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with judging from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Trophies for the top 50 cars along with our grand prize trophy for the car club with the most cars entered at the show will be awarded at 2:00 p.m. Come and see some of the greatest classics in the Northeast and stay and make a day of it. We hope to have live '50's and '60's music by the AdVentures and others to keep you entertained. While you're here, join in the fun as the Cincinnatus Fire Department sponsors their annual July 4th celebration with an old-fashioned Fireman's Field Days. There will be amusement rides, games, exhibits, and lots of food for everyone. If interested in participating in the car show, contact the Cincinnatus Business Association for a registration form. Whether a participant or car enthusiast, we look forward to seeing you in downtown Cincinnatus, NY!
A Children's Christmas
There's no place like home for the holidays. We invite you to become a part of this annual family-oriented event held on the first Saturday of December sponsored by the Cincinnatus Business Association.
Like travelling back in time, a Children's Christmas
will warm your heart with horse-drawn sleigh (or wagon, if there is no snow) rides, Christmas carolling, and Christmas story-telling. And if we've been good, it may include a visit from Santa Claus himself. The holiday events are held at various locations around Cincinnatus (Cincinnatus Fire Department, Kellogg Free Library, Cincinnatus Central School) and offers something for every member of the family.
Please join us for a celebration of tradition.
Cincinnatus Corn Fest
The Cincinnatus CornFest is held annually during the third week in September. Each year the theme of the festival changes, however, one thing remains consistent - CORN. The Cincinnatus area is rich in farmland and we take this opportunity to honor and celebrate our heritage and to look to the future. Join us for the parade, food, live music, and an all around good time.
July 4th Celebration
The July 4th Celebration is a community event held during the weekend surrounding July 4th. This year the event will be held from July 4 to July 6, 2008. A tradition for several years, it is a family event with amusement rides, parade, food, and much, much more. It culminates with the grand finale of fireworks enjoyed by thousands of people. Join us in Cincinnatus for this year's July 4th Celebration and don't forget to join us for the 2008 Annual Car Show tentatively scheduled for Sunday, July 6, 2008.
